[Beta test]A plugin against red eyes

Hi

I've made a plugin to correct red eyes. Be aware that this version is an early beta and will fail sometimes. Saving frequent for important work could be wise.

Here are some observations. I may work different than most people so they may not be valid ones.

PhotoFiltre Standard:

I am running into problems with the program freezing every now and then. It does not happen all the time but it does happen on a regular basis. I have zoned in on the following steps that it happens.

Select an area of the eye, if you don't select the undo selection button and click on an area already selected you will get an error message Division par zero You hit the ok button on the error message and everything will seem fine. If you try and click again you get the error message. Division par zero. If you click the Undo Selecetion button it then freezes.

PhotoFiltre Studio:

1) Can not work on a layer only the background.
2) If you have an adjustment layer over the background layer and then work on the background layer with the filter the contrast and brightness increases quite a bit.

Thanks, for the very clear description. I could reproduce it and hopefully fixed it. version 91 is available.

I don't have studio, so I can't view it. This will then probably also the case with my whitebalance plugin. I hope it does work when there are no layers used???

Not for publication... I fact I would rather have it tested with other photo's normaly it should work ok for mine (at least the dozen tested one's).

I'm at the moment mostly interested in :

a) problems crashes, strange beheavour etc.
b) how easy/fast it is selecting the red-eye portion and using the more and less button

I'll try to improve the color/eye change within a few weeks. Specifically I'll try to reduce the pupil size to make it more "daylight like".

I had some tests done and suggest some improvements.

You can see a little red edge which remains around the iris.

For likening i join a picture processed manualy by distend the selection get with he magic wand.

Thanks, somethings to remember when trying adding the narrowing of the pupil.

I'm fully aware that manualy there are better results possible, but not in the same time...

I tried your plugin today (whith PF std, not studio), I had not seen it front
(It would be well to place it in the French section too, even if the translation is approximate !!! )
It work very well and after several tests, no problem or crash landing.

No Problem. If you could translate some of the buttons in French, I will make a new beta with french also. I rather clean up the window and make it a 1.0 version. The other enhancements can wait until 1.1.
