[Insert Text] i need a char table to select the right char

Hi all,

if i use the text utilitie to input text

i often use a dingbat font like Wingding2.

But i don't know what keyboard button
will give me what wingding char

So i suggest to include an char table
how show me what wingding char
is on what keyboard key.

At least an button to launch
the windows own char table from (Start | Programme | Accessories | System Tool)
at easy would be nice

Is aomething of this improvements feasible ?

Ah bon ? Qu'est-ce qui pourrait faire qu'elle ne soit pas installée ?
Il me semble que c'est toujours (au moins depuis Win 98 ) %windir%\charmap.exe, où %windir% est le répertoire de Windows (j'ai des réflexes DOS )

Win2000 = %SystemRoot%\System32\charmap.exe
( lecacy %WinDir%\System32\charmap.exe )

WinXP    = %SystemRoot%\System32\charmap.exe
( legacy %WinDir%\System32\charmap.exe )

Win98 = %WinDir%\Charmap.exe

%WinDir% points to %SystemRoot% on NT5 windows.
You could read that from
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment

On NT4 it should be = %WinDir%\System32\charmap.exe ???

L’ajout d’un fond au texte est plus compliqué qu’il ny paraît :

- il faut définir une marge, sinon, quand c’est collé c’est pas très beau
- en cas de semi-transparence (opacité de 50% par exemple), il faut gérer l’intersection du texte et du fond, car il ne faut pas voir le fond en dessous le texte, mais l’image

Le problème est pas évident à expliquer, surtout en anglais

Le bouton, pour les Charmap.exe ne doit pas absolument appeler dans le TextTool être.
Celui-ci peut aussi être dans le bord de menu, ou ?
