adding black to blue channel

Hi,
I read that the blue colour in a blue sky can be made a deeper shade of blue by "adding black to the blue channel".
Does anyone know how I can do that?

You can use the RGB balance or perhaps better, the Gamma correction by channel (with the last version)

with the menu Adjust > Gamma correction you can just change the blue value.

Don't know exactelly what ypou want then it is difficult
