Hello

I just started to use PF and I really like it! I'm creating a layout right now but I have some questions:

1. How can I create a border around a layer? So not around some text or the whole image only around the layer.
2. How can I make round borders (around the layers)?
3. How can I make a border only at the bottom of a layer of image?

1. How can I create a border around a layer? So not around some text or the whole image only around the layer.

• menu Selection / Select layer
• menu Selection / Contract
• right clic in the selection / Invert selection
• right clic in the selection / Stroke and fill / Fill and choose a colour
  May be you have to go in Preferences and uncheck Draw on alpha transparency
  They are many other ways to get a same result, have a look at menu Filter/Stylize/Progressive contour or Contour 3D

2. How can I make round borders (around the layers)?

• like above : when you get the correct selection, right clic Set shape / Rounded rectangle

3. How can I make a border only at the bottom of a layer of image?

• rather easy, there i live you guess your own way, with Duplicate the layer or something like a mask perhaps ?
