When using the 8bf PaintEngine plugin in Adobe Illustrator it is necessary to first rasterize the image before the plugin will function properly.
I have tried using the raster plugin in PhotoFiltre Studio 8 prior to utilizing the PaintEngine plugin to absolutely no avail.
Perhaps if a true rasterize plugin were to be afforded the PF and PFS programs the PE 8bf will function properly. I have no idea if this would work or not, but it is a thought.
