Ok, I have translated these instrustions to the best of my ability... My French is not great. Here is my translation:
External module (plugin) for PhotoFiltre Copyright (c) 2001-2004 Antonio DA CRUZ Web site: http://www.photofiltre.com
Installation
============
Unzip the file 'ImpGifAnim.pfl' into the PhotoFiltre 'Plugins' folder. Restart PhotoFiltre to install the module.
Use
===========
This an Import type of module. Go to File >> Import >> Animated GIF...
Two modes of importation are available:
1. The decomposition mode of animation
This is the default mode.
Each image created (in PhotoFiltre) represents a frame animation. The images obtained are in 16M mode without transparency. The drawing is done on a white zone.
2. The decomposition Mode of the images
To obtain this mode, you must select File >> Import >> Animated GIF... while holding the CTRL key until the dialog box appears. Then ?release? the CTRL key and select your file.
Each image created (in PhotoFiltre) represents one GIF. The images are transparent. In most cases, these 2 modes give the same result. But certain GIF animations are better if the images are superimposed upon each other (a little like copy/paste).
Good Luck!
What I can't figure out is how to get the images into my project. The animation I have is four images that opened up separately in Photofiltre so I tried to copy and paste them all but it did not work. Any suggestions?
So you can only import an animated GIF to use one of the images, not import the whole animation into an image created with PF? I think that is what you are saying...
FrançoisL a écrit :You can't create a GIF with PF (not PF Studio).
So you have to use a tool like Movies or GIF animator. You will find links here.
