Unexpected size in new page command

I need help! you know when you open a new page in photofilter it lets you chose your size, well i type in the size i want and it opens sometying esel...help!

maybe you think of the same problem i found today.. and i also wanted to aks how to work with it.
i want to make a graphic with the format 10x15cm but if i click on "new" and choose this size, i automatically get an about 5 cm bigger copy. and not exactly five but a very strange one.
can anyone help please? i need an exact picture to put in a frame!

i hope i understood you right.. the version of photofiltre i use is 6.2.6!
and i realized that it is in my profile if you click on it, but didn t found where to change it!

How do you do the size mesure to say the new page is 5 cm bigger than the original format selected ?

I have done the same process and when i select 15 x 10 cm in 300 dpi, i get a picture as 1772 x 1181 pixels in the correct format of 3:2
And that is the most important feature.
The size in cm is only useful for printing.

To put a picture in a frame, if the inner space of the frame is in the correct format of 3:2 :
- copy the original picture to paste.
- select the inner frame with the magic wand,
- use file/External module/Paste inside and select Adaptation : none and Preserve ratio without crop
Then you can preview and notice that the whole original picture is pasted and fill exactly the selected area.
