Autumn is here, and it is good cooking weather. Below is a Spanish pastry, fresh today, called "Pestiñas." The Greeks make their own version called Baklava. I am certain the French have something in their own cuisine equivalent to this.
The frame is made from a nozzle I made recently.
Yours is very fancy I think. Isn't filo pastry the really flakey type? These are made by making a proper dough from flour, a bit of oil, a dash of salt, and enough sweet OR white wine to make a rollable dough. Then drizzle with honey water. Inexpensive, and very tasty.
What is Filo pastry?

As a matter of fact, your recipe is much better than mine !
Have a look there ; that’s filo pastry.
You can make lots of recipes whit this pastry. It’s very easy and if you won’t to make it yourself… you can buy some sheets at the supermarket… that’s great when you haven’t got enough time to cook.
But I think it’s not the right place to speak about that, especially in English. Oyé oyé bonnes gens : Pardon d’avoir un peu divaguer dans ce post. Je pense que ce n’est pas le lieu idéal pour parler cuisine et encore moins en anglais. Mille excuses.
