Wow PF I love the Coal feature. This would be great for making Cave Paintings

Real nice improvement, the only problem is some of my tutorials will not be up to date anymore

it seem that one of my favourite trick to manipolate photo( original photo/ENGRAVING/outline(0 or 1)/ fade(from 40 to 60%) +revive colours filtre or add saturation)didn't work very well in the new version( more pixelation and artifact ,really too much evident with low res images).

I tried the new version with several (low and high res )images but it seem to me that FOR MY KIND OF USE the old version was really better: I almost never use the other gravure effects,but i loved the outline option so i really badly miss the old version
i will like to know:

1) if it is possible to have a link to download the old version (no more on the side)

2)IF there is a way ( like renaming one of the folder or similar workaround ) to use both engraving versions,...new one seem really improved i would like try it more, but i missed to much my favourite trick

for PF:
since the previous Gravure is not anymore available on my copy of PF and PFS i could not make a accurate comparison ...but with the old one i always got good result,with the new one that kind of manipolation i spoke about usually didn't work so well.
At soon i can get a way to download the old one i will put on PF and, using the new one on PFS i will do a better check (using the same images)

I believe I have a copy of the older GRAVURE on my PF, which I have kept active because I like it a lot. Would you like it emailed to you. It says it is the version for PF, and it does not mention Studio.

I can make a corrective measure or a new function.
I think of knowing why !!
Can you give precise explanations (images to illustrate for example)

I have to check it better but it is seems to me that outline works in a different way (more colours and usually no any pure black,...this could be a nice improvement,but not for my pourpose)

Folks, do not do what I did. I thought I had the latest engrave plugin in my new Studio version, but noooooooooo. I had the old one. I just test flew the new engrave plugin, and it is fantastic. Don't miss out on it.

O well, i tried a lot of pics so i supposed i have to apologize The "outline" that was my problem gives very similar result in both,i could not duplicate the problems.
In some images using it increase a lot the" pixelation"(not only increase the size but make them more visible) but i supposed there is no much to do about...
and ,back to the point newer didn't seem to enhance pixel more then older.
