How can i use hex specified colors in gradient?

Message par SuE »

Hi everybody, I am new to the forums and I just discover Photofiltre power and I love it :-)

I have small problem, advice please :-)

I found here in the forum that it is possible to use eye drop to set colors for a pot ot brush.

What I need is to make gradient of two hexadecimally defined colors.
Example: I have web page with some background color. I want gradient on the image which dissolves in the background color. Usually gradient is short - up to half of the page and the rest is background color defined by HTML

Is it possible to define this in some way? May be arithmetic formula ...?

Hi SuE

To set colors for a pot or brush, you can also input the hexa value of the colors in the cell which appears under "web" label when you click on the eye drop tool.
So, input a first hexa value of color (RVB= 6 chars) and the upper square of front color will get it.
Switch the front and back colors and do the same thing for the second color of gradient.
On a little corner of a new sheet, set with the brush two examples of front and back colors
Then in Menu Filter / Color / Gradient you get a window to define the two colours of the gradient. With the eye drop tool of each color you can get the two, front and back, colors you had defined above.
Cut the peaces of examples and you get your sheet with gradient.
I don't know if exist a shorter way, but this way matches.
Enjoy with PhotoFiltre !!!
(If i have your question misunderstood, you may insist)

pleased to read you.
