Will All PF Software Work in VISTA

I will be sending my brother a copy of the latest free version of PF. He will be swithching from XP Professional to VISTA within the next two weeks. My question is simple: will it work with VISTA? It would be nice if I could get him interested in graphics via PF so we could share our mutual endeavour. Thank you.

Not tested by me. i know it's works but some problems with file association for exemple and other function...

I have been testing Photofiltre 6.2.7 on my VISTA test PC (Athlon 64 2800+, 1500MB memory, RADEON X1600pro+256 MB) for a couple of weeks.
PF works all right, but some how it takes some minutes in start up.
Also I notice the Histogram plugin takes long time in loading, and works by far slower than when it runs on Windows XP or 2000pro PCs.

This is not vital problem for me, since PF is working nicely on my Windows 2000 and XP PCs.

But, I am wondering the reason of this slowness , and I'll be very happy if I could know any measure to solve the problem.

This is to follow up the report I sent before.

I added 4GB USB memory as ReadyBoost.
This addition suprisingly improved the speed of PhotoFiltre on my VISTA test PC.
Time to see the PhotoFiltre window after giving a click on its desk top icon reduced down to 35 sec from 160 sec.
Time to see the histogram plugin box was also reduce to the same extent.

Now, PhotoFiltre has returned to the list of the most useful applications in my VISTA PC!

Just wanted to let you know that PhotoFiltre (Both the free version
and the Registered version) work fine in Windows Vista Home
Premium 32-bit version...

I DO have a real problem with the registration though. I have
received my registration codes, and have applied them to the
program, but PhotoFlitre Studio keeps asking me to re-enter the
registration codes. Is there any more information available concerning
this bug?

I have searched this forum for answers, but have not found anything
related to this question (unless it's in French.)

Can anyone give me a clue as to why Studio keeps asking me to
re-enter the registration codes?

Hi,

As for any registred tools, you have to open a session or run PFS in Administrator mode, before to enter your registration code.

Yes, but something under 64-bit have problem freeze (X Close - cannot clos) and bug in the window.
